Workspace as an Asset – Not Just a Cost

A panel for those that still leverage the office, even if it's not for 5 days per week!
You can crush spreadsheets in pyjamas and hop on Zoom from the sofa, walk your dogs, manage family life...it's fair to say remote and Hybrid life is here to stay.
But let’s be honest: some of the magic still happens when people share the same spaces and have face to face connection. This panel is about those that still value the office, how they are utilising it and why their teams are engaged with their Return to Office Policy, even if that's not 5 days per week.
What’s on the menu?
• ROI of collaborative in person teams – Fresh insights on how face-to-face chats speed up decisions and spark creativity.
• Leadership and emerging talent – How are companies shaping tomorrows talent and why in person time with senior leaders is still the ultimate accelerator.
• Hybrid Hacks – Playbooks for mixing WFH freedom with “all hands meeting” rituals, so desks aren’t ghost towns but nobody’s chained to a commute.
• Metrics That Matter – We’ll swap boring utilisation reports for pulse-checks on morale, innovation and real business wins.
• The future of the office – From cubicles to culture hubs, experts weigh in on what the office of tomorrow will really look like.
About the Speakers:

Joe Averill is the Founder of Level who created the business in February 2022. He was born and raised in Manchester, and has a background which combines both tech and property. Joe was part of a tech business that raised $25 million and scaled from 10 to 100 people, based in Manchester’s very first digital hub The Sharp Project. He then took a U-turn into the world of property at a commercial leasing agency, quickly identifying that there was a gap in the market to turn the business model on its head and solely represent tenants.

Jack Frimston is the co-founder of We Have A Meeting, a UK-based sales consultancy and podcast known for its refreshingly honest approach to outbound sales. A former singer turned sales strategist, Jack has built a reputation for combining psychology, storytelling and no-nonsense advice to help businesses connect more meaningfully with their customers.
In 2025, Jack co-authored Sales Is Therapy, a bestselling book that repositions sales as a human-first profession. The book blends lessons from years of real-life cold calling with insights from philosophy and modern psychology, and has become essential reading for founders, SDRs and sales leaders looking to sell with more purpose and less fluff.

Michelle Richardson is the Director of Project Management for Motion, based here in Manchester. The daughter of a bricklayer, she always knew she wanted to work in construction like her Dad. Studying Architecture 25 years ago gave her the basis to start her career and she then chose Project Management so she should drive the entire project rather than just designing one piece of the puzzle.
