  1. Favourite quote or saying

Get stuck in – A can do attitude is key whatever business you are in and a motto we all live by at Moneypenny.

  1. Career highlight

I had a sabbatical from Moneypenny back in 2009 to travel to Australia with my husband as his job moved out there for a short time. Whilst there I had a call from Joanna Swash our now CEO who let me know that Moneypenny was launching a new specialist property team that she asked me to set up and run and I was delighted and couldn’t wait to get back to start! This was a major triumph in my career.

  1. Why do you love pro-manchester?

It supports business and is brilliant at facilitating communication in the North West helping to bring businesses together to enhance creativity and a joined-up approach.

  1. What are you reading at the moment?

Nomad by James Swallow.

  1. What are you watching at the moment?

I enjoy political dramas and have just finished the last series of Homeland.

  1. Favourite meeting place in Manchester?

Pot Kettle Black in Spinningfields. It does great coffee and is in a good location too.

  1. Favourite lockdown activity?

It would have to be exploring with the family as we moved into a new house two days before we went into lockdown. It is lovely and rural, and we have enjoyed getting to know the countryside around where we now live.

  1. Most creative meal that you cook?

Thai beef salad

  1. Most creative thing you’ve seen on a video call during lockdown?

Our CEO Joanna Swash does a weekly video where she updates all our employees about what has happened in the business that week and she finds creative ways to do this and new things each       week. For example, she did a brilliant video recently where she launched our new national advertising campaign which showed her sitting in her kitchen opening each paper and talking us                 thorough it. It felt like we were there in her kitchen listening to her and we all felt involved and excited.

  1. Most mundane task you’ve completed since being in lockdown?

It would have to be unpacking boxes as we moved into a new house shortly before we went into lockdown. It has been exciting too though, as when some of the things came out, they felt like new as I hadn’t seen some of them for a while!

  1. Do you write a blog that you’d like us to share?

It is a work in progress personally however we have been busy in the sales team at Moneypenny launching new products and have some great blogs here.
