Barnabus

Barnabus is a Christian Homeless Charity in Manchester working with and for people experiencing homelessness and rough sleeping. We believe in people’s ability to recover from the reasons they became homeless, and to become the people they aspire to be.

Support begins from the very first point of crisis all the way to helping men and women succeed and thrive at independent living in our resettlement houses and own supported homes. This is because we walk alongside people on their journeys off the street, recognising that people need support tailored to their particular situations.

It all begins on the streets and at our city centre support centre, where over one thousand people each year start their journeys, with a cup of coffee, to medical care and holistic support. We have our own supported housing where people learn to become independent and to reintegrate into their local community. Over the last five years we have supported 140 people off the streets and into one of our homes with an 87% success rate.
