Koba is a premium sustainable flexible workspace provider based at 100 Barbirolli Square.  Koba aims to redefine the flexible workspace sector by embedding sustainability, health, and well-being into every aspect of its offerings.

Koba’s flagship location, Koba @ 100 Barbirolli Square, spans approximately 30,000 sq ft across two floors of a Grade A office building in Manchester city centre. This site offers a range of workspaces, including private office suites, bookable conference rooms, and coworking desks, accommodating teams from 2 to 200 people. The design emphasizes circularity, with features like demountable walls and locally sourced, sustainable materials. The workspace is powered by 100% renewable energy and incorporates wellness-focused amenities such as real-time air quality monitoring and wellness rooms.

In December 2024, Koba achieved a significant milestone by becoming the world’s first WELL Coworking Rated flexible workspace. This rating, developed by the International WELL Building Institute and The Instant Group, recognizes workspaces that meet rigorous health and well-being standards.

Building on its success in Manchester, Koba plans to expand its footprint, with a second location in London scheduled to open in Q3 2025 . The company aims to open three to four sites annually in major UK cities, continuing its mission to provide evidence-based, sustainable workspaces that prioritize both people and the planet.
