Prevent Breast Cancer

Prevent Breast Cancer is the only UK charity dedicated solely to predicting and preventing breast cancer. Based at The Nightingale Centre in Manchester, the charity funds pioneering research focused on risk prediction, prevention and early detection, with the aim of stopping breast cancer before it starts. Its work also includes breast awareness, education and health inclusion, helping more people understand their risk and access the right support. Unlike many cancer charities, Prevent Breast Cancer is focused on prevention rather than cure, working to protect future generations and create a future where breast cancer is preventable.
