Fiona Lyons, Asset Manager at Mapletree, said,
“JMW has been a part of the 3 Hardman Street community since 2017 and we are delighted it has taken further space with us, as part of its expansion plans.  JMW’s commitment to 3 Hardman Street is a testament to our occupier-centric ethos which underpins the environment we provide for our 4,000-strong working population. Over the past two years, we have invested considerably in refurbishing parts of the building and launched a community portal for our occupiers, 3HardmanLife, which has proved hugely popular”.

JMW have also expanded its office space in London taking a 3rd floor in Kings House which is situated in the business district of Bank. They have taken a further 3,500 square foot of prestige office accommodation which now sees them occupy half of Kings House. JMW only opened their London office in May 2019 and now has over 90 Partners and staff. The fit out of the London office was undertaken once again by Dthree who also worked on the previous two fit outs. Despite the pandemic the London office has still continued to expand, in the last 6 months they have recruited 39 people, 9 of which were at Partner level.

Commenting on the expansion of office accommodation for JMW, Joy Kingsley, Senior Partner said:

“We are pleased to have taken on additional office space at 3 Hardman Street in Spinningfields to house our commercial offering in Manchester. It made sense to bring all our commercial teams together on one floor, allowing them to work together for our clients. The new office space supports our continued growth and 3 Hardman Street is also very close to our space at 1 Byrom Place.  The additional accommodation highlights our continued growth and investment for the future.

Due to our continued further recruitment in London we have decided to take an additional floor in Kings House to accommodate Partners and staff. Our 3rd floor of office accommodation means that there is room for further expansion for all our departments in London. It has been a period of rapid growth for our London office and as a firm we are delighted to have invested in this further office space for them.

We entered into these lease obligations during the pandemic showing our commitment to the cities of Manchester and London into the future. We have provided our workforce in both locations with a workplace to enable collaborative office working in tandem with some home working where possible or when necessary.”
