Applications are now open for employers to join our 2026 degree apprenticeship cohorts. These programmes help organisations strengthen their workforce, build skills and attract new talent.
Manchester Metropolitan University (Manchester Met), the UK’s leading provider of degree apprenticeships, has opened applications for its 2026 cohorts across business, HR and management, and health and social care.
Employers can now enrol existing employees or hire new talent, with cohorts starting in January, March, April, and May 2026. Contacts us to find out more.
Explore the programmes open for application by start date:
January 2026 –
- Leadership and Management Professional – Health and Social Care: A two-year accelerated qualification designed for experienced health and social care professionals to take on leadership roles and drive improvements in care delivery. Ideal for employees based in or near Cambridge.
March and April 2026 –
- Social Worker: A fast and rigorous route to developing registered social workers, backed by Social Work England. The programme builds resilience, encourages problem-solving, and promotes collaborative approaches to improving lives. Ideal for current employees.
- Leadership and Management Professional – Fast Track: This two-and-a-half-year programme is designed for experienced managers seeking leadership roles or advancing their practice through a cutting-edge university education. Ideal for current employees.
May 2026 –
- Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner: A 17-month higher apprenticeship that equips employees with green skills to embed sustainability and drive positive social and environmental change. Recognised as one of six “green apprenticeships” in honour of King Charles’ coronation. Ideal for current employees looking to upskill.
- Leadership and Management Professional – Health and Social Care: Designed for health and social care staff to develop management and leadership skills. May cohorts will run in Manchester, Leeds, North East, and London. Ideal for employees within commuting distance of these locations.
