Are you getting insights that really improve your media effectiveness?

15th June 2023, 9:27 am

Free Webinar: Tuesday 27th June, 16:00 UK / 11:00 EST

It doesn’t matter how slick the charts, or whether the analysis uses the latest technologies. If media monitoring and evaluation starts from the wrong place, the ‘insights’ uncovered are meaningless.

Join Metricomm and our expert guest speakers at this free webinar to explore a different approach, including the use of AI to measure real media effectiveness.

Speakers:

  • Jim Pierpoint is Senior Vice President, Global Risk Management at the Bank of America; a Lecturer in the Department of Communication Faculty at North Carolina State University; and a former Reuters journalist. He will explain how the standard approach to media evaluation still fails to address the challenge of demonstrating strategic value.
  • Philippa Walker is Head of Media & PR at the University of Bristol, with a background in media management and senior news and features journalism. She will share her team’s experience of taking an audience-centred approach to media effectiveness, solving the problem of demonstrating real impact.
  • Mark Westaby is co-founder and Technical Director at Metricomm. He originally founded Metrica, one of the country’s first media evaluation companies, in 1993, growing it to become the world’s largest independent media evaluation company before being sold to Durrants/Gorkana, in 2009, and subsequently Cision. Mark was also one of the founders of AMEC, chairing the Association for over four years in the early 2000s.  In this webinar, Mark will discuss how using AI reveals in-depth understanding of audience impact that takes analysis of effectiveness to a completely new level.

The webinar will take place via MS Teams, and you will be sent a link to join in advance. It starts at 16.00 GMT/11.00 EST and is expected to last one hour.
