ARMA Connect joins Normec to accelerate its growth in the UK electrical compliance market

Manchester, June 2025 – ARMA Connect, a leading provider of electrical compliance and safety services in the UK, has been acquired by Normec, a specialist in the testing, inspection, certification and compliance industry. The deal positions ARMA Connect for accelerated growth in the UK’s electrical compliance sector. 

The shareholders of ARMA Connect were advised by the corporate finance team at Dow Schofield Watts in the North West. The team was led by Gregg Pendlington, partner at Dow Schofield Watts, along with associate director, Ross Thomas and executive, Jack Keoghan. 

ARMA Connect is one of the UK’s foremost providers of specialist electrical testing, inspection, and compliance solutions, serving some of the country’s most iconic buildings. With national coverage and a strong focus on technology, safety, and customer satisfaction, the company delivers a comprehensive suite of services across electrical safety disciplines, including installation, refurbishment, LED upgrades, and EV charging. 

Under its ongoing commitment to innovation and client service, ARMA Connect recently launched theCONNECT Dashboard, a proprietary software platform that gives clients portfolio-wide visibility of electrical certification, reporting, and compliance. This enhances operational transparency and builds client confidence across large and complex estates. 

As part of Normec, ARMA Connect will continue to operate under its established brand, with the same  team, while benefiting from the scale and support of a wider group. The partnership is expected to foster further innovation and reinforce ARMA Connect’s position as a market leader in UK electrical compliance.

Chris will be stepping down from his role as CEO but will continue to support and advise the business moving forward.
