Back to business for SMEs – webinar series

12th June 2020, 5:18 pm

2020 looked promising for UK small-medium-enterprises (SMEs). Business confidence had started to grow with Brexit outcomes becoming clearer and a majority UK Government. However, following the development of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, economic markets began to fall, supply-chains slowed or came to a standstill and deal making ground to a halt.

In this series of bite-size webinars we look forward, providing support and guidance to SMEs as they navigate the challenges that lie ahead. The series will provide practical guidance, top tips and lessons business can learn on a range of commercial topics, including employment, contractual, supply chain, data protection, real estate and more.

With the June quarter date fast approaching and not all businesses fully open or trading, our second webinar in this series, taking place on Friday 19 June 2020, will be discussing what the current position is with regards to options open to landlords and tenants in respect of meeting (or not meeting!) rental payments under the leases and what the parties can do to reach an amicable solution. We will also be discussing what the future may hold in a post COVID-19 world for landlords and tenants.

We hope you can join us for this webinar and future ones in the series, taking place every Friday at 11am.
