Business Energy Claims (BEC) has appointed a new law firm to its expert panel of legal specialists.

National law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has joined the panel to assist in helping businesses recover hidden commissions and losses from the mis-selling of energy contracts.

Callum Thompson, director of Business Energy Claims, said: “We are delighted to partner with such a prestigious firm as Clarke Willmott. Their outstanding reputation and dedicated team will be a great addition to our panel of law firms, and we are very excited to be working with them.

“Clarke Willmott already had experience of acting for clients who had been mis-sold energy contracts with hidden commissions and therefore we are pleased to be working with a large firm with experience in this field to continue our efforts to legitimise the energy industry and recover losses for many clients.”

Alex Jakubowski, Partner at Clarke Willmott who was noted for his expertise in energy disputes in last year’s Legal 500, said: “We’re excited to join this panel. I’ve found Callum and the rest of the BEC team to be committed, tenacious and knowledgeable about the energy broking sector and its practices.  Clarke Willmott has plenty of experience in this field and we look forward to taking clients through to successful recovery where contracts have been mis-sold.”

With seven offices around the UK, Clarke Willmott offers expert advice and support on a broad range of legal services to individuals and businesses based in the UK and overseas, focusing on the most involved and complex matters.

Clarke Willmott is a leading firm with a strong reputation built on genuine client relationships and exceptional people – each chosen for their industry knowledge and passion for their field, as well as their first-class legal credentials.
