Sterling Properties, acting on behalf of Bracken Property Company, has acquired a further flagship building, Lakeside 5500 at Cheadle Royal Business Park.
Bracken Property Company has purchased the 26,000 sq ft office building from Custodian REIT, for a multi-million pound sum, bringing the total number of buildings it owns at the business park to seven – with a combined total floor space of 144,165 sq ft.
The Lakeside 5500 building is currently two thirds occupied and has 8,745 sq ft of fully refurbished space available.
Emily Parkinson, Commercial Surveyor and head of acquisitions at Sterling Properties, said: “We really like Cheadle Royal as a business district. It is a fantastic location and acquiring further space allows us to provide flexibility for tenants across our portfolio at the business park, depending on their changing occupational needs.”
Mike Flynn, Managing Director of Bracken and Sterling, said: “The acquisition marks the eleventh purchase in the region in the last 12 months – three of those being at Cheadle Royal Business Park – as we continue to grow and diversify our commercial portfolio. We are active in the market and will continue to acquire key assets across the North West throughout 2025.”
“We’d like to pass our thanks to Josh Levy of JLMcr Property Consultancy who acted for Sterling Properties and Bracken Property Company, and Nick Nelson of Sixteen Real Estate who acted for the Vendor, concluding this off-market transition.”
