Manchester, UK, May 6, 2025 – UBS Global Wealth Management today announced that Bradley Russell has joined the firm as Head of Manchester and the North West. Bradley brings to UBS over two decades of experience in the wealth management industry. His hire reinforces UBS’s commitment to providing locally informed, personalised advice to clients in the UK and Channel Islands, backed by the scale and expertise of the firm’s global footprint.
In his new role, Bradley will support UBS advisors in Manchester and the broader North West, working with high-net-worth individuals and families, as well as business owner and entrepreneur clients in achieving their long-term financial goals through tailored advice. Bradley’s passion for improving financial literacy among first generation wealth holders has helped some of the North West’s leading entrepreneurs to better understand their finances and create a lasting legacy. His hire reflects UBS’s local strategy across the UK and Channel Islands to become the wealth manager of choice for business owners and entrepreneurs, providing them unparalleled access to UBS’s global resources through a local lens.
Beyond client-focused priorities, Bradley will also play a key role in fostering a work environment where success is shared, and colleagues are united behind a common purpose. Believing that a positive workplace culture directly enhances client service, he aims to build on UBS’s reputation as a great place to work, creating long-term value for both employees and clients.
“On behalf of UBS, I’m excited to welcome Bradley to the firm,” said James Meyrick, Head of Ultra High Net Worth and Regions at UBS Global Wealth Management. “He is an outstanding professional whose expertise and insight will be instrumental to our continued success in the North West. His appointment both enhances our regional capabilities and strengthens the foundation for future growth within our Manchester office.”
Before joining UBS, Bradley, a North West native, spent 15 years at RBC Brewin Dolphin, where he was a Senior Investment Manager and Divisional Director in their Manchester office. Prior to this, he worked at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management and started his career in the financial services industry in 2003.
Bradley specializes in managing investments for high-net-worth individuals and families, with a particular focus on business owners and entrepreneurs. He holds the Chartered Wealth Manager qualification and is a Fellow of the Securities Institute.
In his spare time, Bradley enjoys playing golf, padel, and running or cycling the roads of Cheshire, as well as spending time with his young family. He is a keen volunteer and fundraiser and is involved at board level with several local and national charities, including The King’s Trust, the Rycroft Children’s Fund and the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity.
“UBS is a truly global, industry leading wealth manager, and I’m joining the team at a time when the North West is continuing to experience dynamic and sustained growth,” said Bradley. “There’s a real opportunity to match the firm’s global reputation with a market-leading presence in the region and I believe that I’m stepping into a world-class team with big ambitions, at exactly the right time. I look forward to working with our advisors to ensure we’re the first choice for business owners and entrepreneurs navigating a transition and positioning themselves for long-term growth. With our global capabilities, specialist expertise, and a truly differentiated product offering, we’re well positioned to lead the North West market.”
