Clarke Willmott assists on dental practice deal

Specialist solicitors, Clarke Willmott LLP in Manchester have completed on the sale of Jim Benson & Associates dental practice on South Shore, Blackpool.

The family-run surgery in Lytham Road was established by Jim Benson and has been providing dental care to generations of local people since opening its doors in 1979.

The practice was sold for an undisclosed sum.

Helen Wong MBE of Clarke Willmott’s corporate team acted on behalf of the vendor and was assisted by Siobhan Birket, Emma Collins and Chloe Santiago.  Jonathan Watson of Christies brokered the transaction.

Jim Benson described Helen and her team as ‘very approachable’ and always available to answer any queries or concerns.

“They were efficient and professional throughout and regularly in contact with the buyers’ solicitors in order to speed the process along as much as possible,” he said.

“Helen invariably provided us with a calm and clear-headed perspective on the sale, which was especially helpful to us as novices.”

Helen and her team specialise in corporate transactions including dental surgeries, opticians, vets, nurseries, pharmacies, care homes (residential and domiciliary) and GP surgeries.
