Connections Recruitment is expanding!

19th September 2019, 9:50 am

That’s right- the Connections family is growing once again. We’re absolutely thrilled to be merging our two main offices together, with some exciting new members of staff thrown in for good measure.

We therefore say a rather tearful goodbye to our long standing Head Office in Sale at the end of the week, as our staff join forces in Manchester City Centre. It really does mark the end of an era for us- we’ve called Sale our home since 1985. Its bittersweet, but we’re incredibly excited to drive our business forward in the wonderfully swanky offices of Central Working Manchester.

So why the move?

It’s never been a more advantageous time to settle in Manchester City Centre. Call us bias, but it’s a positive flurry of innovation, creativity and sheer Northern grit. Since the days of the industrial revolution, Manchester has had a vital part to play in boosting the UK economy- its thriving business landscape, impressive economic forecasts and low operating costs (up to 40% less than London) make our home city a competitive location for creativity and growth.

In the past few years though, development in Manchester has skyrocketed more than usual. Manchester is leading the charge in de-centralising the UK market, boasting the fastest growing economy outside of the capital, with gross value added growth projections of 45% between 2016 and 2036. It’s therefore no great surprise that Manchester has now become known as a UK hub for business and emerging talent.

Despite the rather bleak political and financial climate of current times, business in Manchester is booming. Development in the city is at an all-time high; you can’t help but notice as you meander your way through the endless trendy restaurants, hip workspaces and towering skyscrapers. It’s a place for businesses to innovate, and Connections look forward to doing the same.

As we now bring our offices together, we can create a highly skilled team that provide honest, reliable recruitment services for a contemporary job market.

Be sure to keep an eye on our Twitter and LinkedIn pages to see how we’re all settling in!

Fancy swinging by our swanky new HQ? You’ll find us at Central Working, 55 Spring Gardens Manchester.
