Contentious Probate Seminar – Larke v Nugus

15th August 2023, 11:34 am

As Stephensons grows its contentious probate offering, we want to share our knowledge and expertise with others working in the private client sectors.

A Larke v Nugus request is the first step in any validity challenge against a Will, and such claims are more popular than ever before.

Our specialist contentious probate solicitor, Jordan Davies, will be providing a training session on all things Larke v Nugus.

The seminar will consider

  • How best to handle and respond to a request including the process, time scales and incurring costs.
  • How to prepare for the possibility of a will you have drafted being issued with a Larke v Nugus request in the future
  • How to ensure you can be confident in providing a response demonstrating that you took all necessary steps to produce a strong, valid Will.

The event will bring together a variety of professionals who often encounter clients in need of advice and assistance in dealing with contentious probate matters, and provide the professionals with the foundations of understanding how many of these disputes start off.

The session aims to educate and promote networking within the private client sector, from financial advisors to probate solicitors and will drafters.

Details of the event

  • 8.30am – Registration and breakfast
  • 9.00am – Seminar start following by networking.
