It’s time to nominate them in Manchester City Council’s new Best of Manchester awards.

The simple online nomination form asks you to say what they do – and why you admire them.

It’s for people, groups or organisations quietly doing those unsung, everyday things that make Manchester feel kinder and more together, pleasanter to live in, or that help others get on in life.

So, there’s an award for making where you live clean and tidy, one for those caring for others’ health and enjoyment of life, for protecting the environment, for bringing people together, one for businesses working with residents or community groups. Ten awards in all to choose from.
