Fletcher Bond expands with move to larger Manchester HQ

Property consultancy Fletcher Bond has moved into a larger Manchester headquarters to underpin its plans to triple in size over the next three years.
The firm, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, had outgrown its space on the first floor of 61 Mosley Street.
It has now taken the entire fifth floor of the building on a five-year lease from landlord GGM Properties.
Cosmin Armene, a property and construction solicitor at north west law firm Bermans, advised Fletcher Bond on the new lease.
The new headquarters spans 2,000 sq ft and features a boardroom, two meeting rooms and space for up to 26 staff.
There is also a dedicated client reception area and a breakout zone with a kitchen, beer fridge, table tennis and dartboard.
Fletcher Bond, which also has an office in London, works with commercial lenders and private clients to provide solutions to complex property situations across the UK involving commercial, industrial, retail, leisure, care and residential assets.
Its real estate services include restructuring and recovery, strategic asset management, valuations and transactions.
The firm has experienced strong growth in recent years, with revenue increasing by 65 per cent in its latest financial year to June 30.
Recent client wins include Roma Finance, Hampshire Trust Bank and Reward Funding, while the appointments this month of associate director Jonathan Holmes, finance manager Faye Riley and apprentice surveyors Ella Daly and Jack Ifield have taken staff numbers to 10.
Rory Dillon founded Fletcher Bond in 2016 and the company was initially based in a single room at 61 Mosley Street.
He said: “We have always had our headquarters at 61 Mosley Street and have enjoyed a strong relationship with GGM Properties.
“Having outgrown our previous office space and with plans to triple in size over the next three years, we needed a larger base and were happy to stay at the same location.
“The move itself went very smoothly. Our operations director Rob Charnock did a sterling job in masterminding the process, with great support from Cosmin.
“Our new office represents much more than a change of accommodation. It reflects our ongoing commitment to the three things that matter most to us – our clients, our colleagues and collaboration.
“As Fletcher Bond continues to grow, we look forward to welcoming new clients with complex restructuring and property requirements, while also looking to expand our team further.
“We see opportunities in helping lenders navigate increasingly complicated property portfolios, particularly where private credit is involved or where inexperienced borrowers have run into difficulties with high-risk or part-complete developments.”
Cosmin said: “It is great to see Fletcher Bond continuing to expand and it’s been an absolute pleasure to work with Rory and the team to facilitate and formalise their Manchester office move.
“Bermans is delighted to have supported them during this exciting period of growth for the business. We wish them every success for the future and look forward to working with them in the years ahead.”
Peter Smith, national group business manager at landlord GGM Properties, said: “We’ve always had a great working relationship with Rory, and the success Fletcher Bond has achieved over the last 10 years is a great credit to him and his team.
“It’s been very pleasing to see the business flourish and, having outgrown its previous office and moved to a refurbished space, we wish everyone at Fletcher Bond well going forward.”
