Former solicitor wins business award for digital innovation in coaching and inclusion

Hannah Cohen, founder of The Insight Coach, has won the Most Effective Digital Adoption by a Non-Digital Business award at the 2026 Altrincham and Sale Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, recognising the role technology has played in building and growing her coaching and workplace inclusion business.
Based in Greater Manchester, Hannah works with individuals and organisations to address workplace barriers, build confidence and create more inclusive working environments. Her services include one-to-one coaching, workplace workshops, speaking and consultancy, with a focus on hidden disabilities, neurodiversity and inclusion.
A former solicitor with more than 20 years of professional experience, Hannah established The Insight Coach following significant personal and professional change, including losing her sight. Digital technology has been instrumental in enabling her to develop a new professional career and run her business independently.
From delivering coaching and workshops online to building relationships with organisations through digital platforms, technology has helped Hannah reach people beyond her immediate locality and create more flexible ways of working.
As someone who is registered blind, she also relies on accessibility technology, including Apple’s VoiceOver screen reader, to navigate digital environments and manage aspects of her business.
“Technology has been fundamental to how I’ve built The Insight Coach,” says Hannah. “It’s enabled me to work independently, connect with people I might never otherwise have met and deliver my services in ways that aren’t limited by geography. For me, digital adoption isn’t just about efficiency. It’s about access, independence and opportunity.”
Hannah’s approach to inclusion is also informed by her experience of navigating workplaces that are not always designed with everyone in mind. Through her work, she helps organisations recognise hidden barriers and consider practical changes that enable people to contribute and perform at their best.
She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation and was named Hidden Disability Personality of the Year 2026 at the All 4 Inclusion Awards.
Winning the award recognises how digital tools can help a small, service-based business operate differently, expand its reach and make professional services more accessible.
