Despite COVID our Digital sector in GM remains strong accounting for many of the current job vacancies as well as  talent needs arising across all sectors through the acceleration of digital transformation. GMCA are hosting a knowledge sharing event to showcase the findings of our skills intelligence gathering around the sector led by employers and share back with you recommendations to support the development of our digital talent pipeline.

This event is for any stakeholder interested in the strategic development of skills for the Digital sector including employers, skills providers of all types and other organisations which support the development of this key industry in GM. The purpose of the event is to share findings of GMCAs first Digital Industry Skills Intelligence Report brought to life through a panel of employers, skills providers and recruiters who have contributed to the report and can bring some of the best practice around skills development in our digital sector. More details on our panel will follow.

This event will feedback key skills recommendations made in the report prioritising key gaps in talent and progression pathways in the digital sector. GMCA will be shaping work and skills programme around this intelligence including future commissioned activity as well as helping stakeholders to understand how they could contribute to develop the digital talent pipeline for the benefit of the sector in Greater Manchester.
