GMCA Vacancy: Economy Principal – Low Carbon

Greater Manchester’s Economy Directorate leads on innovation policy, industrial and economic strategy, and the good work agenda across Greater Manchester, and delivers exciting and innovative programmes and projects.  The team is small, and working at a fast pace in a changing economy that is managing ongoing disruption from the pandemic and economic shocks, but is also becoming more productive and has significant growth opportunities.

This role will sit at the junction of Greater Manchester’s exciting local economic and environment agendas, driving new collaborations, policy and programmes to help businesses in the city-region decarbonise, whilst also helping to grow an exciting new frontier within Greater Manchester’s economy.

The post-holder will work closely with the Greater Manchester Bee Net Zero partnership, a partnership of public and private sector organisations taking a collaborative approach to helping businesses on their journey to becoming net zero.
