Hannah has been the MP for the Livingston constituency since she was first elected in the 2015. She is the SNP’s Westminster Spokesperson for Consular Affairs and International Engagement. She was born and raised in Craigshill, Livingston, and later attended Stirling University where she studied Film and Media. Before becoming an MP, Hannah worked in commercial television with STV Glasgow and GMTV, as well as working in the US State Department in the Edinburgh Consulate. Since being elected, Hannah has raised LGBTQ issues in parliament on many occasions, from conversion therapy to homophobia in sport, and is forming a new All Party Parliamentary Group on LGBTQ women in media and entertainment to advocate for better representation.
