HR Complete Training: Hybrid working and changes to flexible working

20th March 2024, 3:51 pm

Working flexibly is seen as essential by employees who are both established within the workplace and also those entering the jobs market. A positive “work life balance” is often a non negotiable for many and it is important that businesses consider carefully what, if any, flexible working offerings they can incorporate into their workplace. This is of paramount importance to organisations when considering the legal changes to flexible working which are on horizon, where this is set to become a “day 1” right for employees, with them also having the ability to make two flexible working requests in a 12 month period. This session will examine flexible and hybrid working both from a legal and holistic perspective, understanding what the legal obligations are, alongside the practical considerations of working flexibly, such as considering the wellbeing of the workforce and the different management styles needed to manage remote workers.
