25th February 2021, 2:57 pm

The University has imminent opportunity seeking potential projects in the MSc Marketing programme – this is currently open for project briefs to be matched to students this month February 2021 details as follows, please contact Rachel at the University ASAP, if you have projects that would fit this programme:

  • MSc Marketing Programme at Alliance Manchester Business School.

This programme is currently matching its student groups to projects which will begin in March. We like to give students an option to work for a real client on applied business consultancy projects, and this could be you!

Students will work from March through to the end of July, projects set around real-world business challenges are very appealing and could deliver solutions for your business. Their deliverable is a 5,000 word report and 5 minute executive summary video, it’s also possible to request a presentation to you in addition.

  • Join a database of business partners to hear about opportunities such as this

The University has a number of initiatives that offer routes for partner organisations to set applied projects for post-graduate students and early career researchers as a route to boost Knowledge Exchange opportunities.

These programmes run at fixed points in the academic year, with partners receive a piece of work around their specific challenge areas at no cost. We are creating a database of business contacts who could benefit from post-graduate and doctoral-level research interventions and who are open to receive project proposals from researchers interested to collaborate with their organisation. We invite you to join our list of available partners to be routinely considered for these programmes on an annual basis.

If your organisation could benefit from the support of MSc/PhD/Post-doctoral researchers in any area of your organisation’s work – including researching new areas, programming, archival work, public engagement; please get in touch with a short description of the department and/or work area on which researchers could work on. The attached document provides detail on one of these programmes including some case studies and brief templates.
