23rd February 2022, Manchester, UK – Jargon PR has today announced its appointment to provide PR support for Manchester Tech Week– the North’s largest ever digital transformation event taking place from the 25th – 29th April 2022 – which will assemble the best of the northern tech community for a special week of innovation, showcase and collaborations.
The event is brought to Manchester by Clarion Events, the organisers of IP EXPO (now re-branded Digital Transformation EXPO (DTX)) and Unified Communications EXPO (UCX).
It puts tech firmly at the forefront of economic recovery post-pandemic for the North and is hosted in Manchester – the city which continues to lead the way in networks, cloud transformation, cyber security, data, AI, broadcasting and collaboration technologies.
On the opening day, Gary Neville – the footballer turned TV pundit, hotelier, property developer and university founder – will deliver a keynote speech to talk about the role of mental resilience, team strategy and data driven decision making.
The week will be anchored by three major shows – Digital Transformation EXPO (DTX) Unified Communications EXPO (UCX) and Connected North. Together these events will address the major challenges faced by public and private sector organisations of all sizes and provide a roadmap for future strategy.
Jargon PR will work with Manchester Tech Week’s organisers to support the event and generate awareness of the key themes across the digital transformation landscape that will be covered at the show. The campaign will build excitement around the event, positioning Manchester Tech Week as a key show to unite the Northern technology community.
Jargon PR’s Sue Souter commented: “This is a significant, timely focus on digital transformation for every business and reflects Manchester’s growing status as a hub for solution providers across all sectors. Partnering with the City Council and other major stakeholders this will seek to provide answers to today’s problems and inspire solutions for tomorrow across the city region and beyond. We are delighted to be involved.”
James McGough, Managing Director of Clarion Events, says: “We’ve worked with Jargon PR around Digital Transformation Expo Europe and UC Expo in London for a number of years, and we’re excited to bring these events to the North of England to harness the digital skills and tech capability of this region.”
The appointment follows Jargon PR’s acquisition of Souter PR, which saw the agency expand its presence within the North of England and open an office in MediaCity.
