Manchester commercial law firm Kuits has advised Everyman Cinema on the licence for its first opening in the city centre.

Housed in the renovated ABC Building on Quay Street, the three-screen boutique cinema has a bar, restaurant and cocktail lounge space, with a waiter service allowing food and drink to be ordered and delivered directly to seats in each screen.

The luxury cinema, the 30th in the Everyman portfolio, forms part of the Manchester St John’s development and will showcase a selection of mainstream, classic and independent films.

Anthony Lyons, join head of licensing at Kuits, said: “It was a pleasure to advise Everyman on bringing its unique entertainment experience into Manchester city centre.

“The city’s leisure offering continues to expand with fresh and innovative concepts and by using our specialist knowledge and expertise Kuits is once again proud to be at the heart of supporting the industry’s growth.”

Everyman Manchester St John’s opened at 23 Quay Street on 31st October 2019.
