Manchester commercial law firm and leisure specialist Kuits has advised Manchester Gin on the launch of its new home in the heart of the city centre.
The Spirit of Manchester Distillery and Three Little Words restaurant is the vision of couple Seb Heeley and Jen Wiggins, who first started distilling batches of the popular gin brand from their home in 2016.
Their concept brings together a distillery, bar, restaurant and gin school into one experiential venue, set into the railway arches of Watson Street under the Manchester Central convention complex.
Currently enjoying a week-long soft launch, with demand for invites seeing slots filled to capacity within 30 minutes of being on offer, Three Little Words officially opens on 16 September.
Seb Heeley said: “We’ve always been passionate about our customers being a part of the Manchester Gin journey and we’re delighted we can now offer the opportunity for visitors to see how our gin is made, as we’ve brought cutting-edge distilling to Manchester.”
Tony Lyons, joint head of licensing at Kuits, said: “Manchester Gin is already one of the city’s proudest exports, with a significant distribution network spanning bars, restaurants and artisan gin retailers. As a Manchester firm, it has been hugely rewarding to be part of the team bringing Seb and Jen’s vision to life.”
Kuits is advisor to a number of successful craft beer and distiller brands, including BrewDog, Cloudwater Brew and Highclere Castle.
