Commercial law firm Kuits hosted a charity fundraising event in May, which saw 87 team members participate in their favoured exercise to raise money for Manchester-based charities.

The Kuits run, walk and cycle took place on Sunday 24 May, on the day of the postponed Great Manchester Run, where colleagues would have ordinarily been participating in the annual event for charitable causes.

Joined by family and friends, team members jogged, walked and cycled over 900km from their homes across the region, raising over £2,250 of vital funds for Coffee4Craig and Wood Street Mission.

Steve Eccleston, Kuits managing partner, said: “Kuits is known for its strong personality and family culture, as well as tremendous community involvement and commitment to charity, which despite the postponement of the Greater Manchester Run, we were determined to continue with during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“In that spirit it was a pleasure for us to setup this event, raising money for local charities and bringing together a sense of unity amongst colleagues, friends and families during this difficult time.”
