Omniplex Learning, a leading provider of learning and development services, has announced the acquisition of SAAS digital adoption specialist Nickelled. The digital adoption solution will become a core element of Omniplex Learning’s portfolio under the name Omniplex Guide.

Omniplex Learning CEO, Matthew Lloyd, said: “We’re delighted that the acquisition of Nickelled will enable digital adoption to be available to our customers through Omniplex Guide. The need for these solutions has accelerated through the pandemic, with companies increasingly seeking to move more key business elements online and to achieve an ROI on their investment in software and technology.”

The digital adoption industry has seen accelerated growth in recent times, with a report from Gartner predicting that by 2025 as many as 70% of organisations will use digital adoption solutions to overcome ineffective user experiences.

A digital adoption solution acts as a supportive layer on top of existing software, providing help and guidance to users with the aim of speeding up the training and onboarding process. As many businesses seek digital business solutions, digital adoption is proving a key component in ensuring this process goes quickly and smoothly.

The addition of Omniplex Guide expands Omniplex Learning’s current suite of digital learning products, which includes award-winning authoring tool Articulate 360 and market-leading Learning Management Software, Docebo.

Omniplex Learning is supported by leading mid-market private equity firm LDC.

LDC Partner Aziz Ul-Haq comments: “The acquisition of Nickelled highlights Omniplex Learning’s commitment to being a complete learning solutions provider. We are continuing to work closely with the management team to further support its plans to provide an increasing breadth of solutions to the eLearning market.”

Omniplex Learning’s acquisition of Nickelled was supported by a team of professional advisors including DWF (legal), Cortus Advisory (financial due diligence), Teneo (commercial due diligence) and RMS (tax).
