Overview

Dealing with change and setbacks is an inevitable part of life, but how do we deal with the gravity of a setback like the COVID pandemic while managing a business?

Resilience is the mental reservoir of strength that we are able to call on in times of need, and this enlightening workshop will provide business leaders with the knowledge and tools to build their own resilience levels, develop techniques to help build a resilient mindset in times of change and understand how this can positively impact an organisation.

Workshop host Felicity Brown is an experienced Health and Wellbeing Specialist, working within the GC Business Growth Hub’s Skills for Growth – SME Support programme. Felicity has a background in embedding wellness into organisational culture, with a passion for people and whose role provides her with the opportunity to meet different individuals every day from a variety of backgrounds to help inspire them to improve the Health and Wellbeing of their workforce and also themselves.

Guest speakers Karen Andrews from Manchester City Council and Thomas Pickford from Skills for Growth – SME Support will discuss grants and initiatives available for businesses in Greater Manchester, as well as give an overview of the programme and how SMEs can access this support.
