The mission is to help finance professionals continue their personal development by drawing on the expertise of technical finance specialists, keynote speakers and through peer-to-peer learning and networking. The network is run in association with Rowan Group and Barclays.

What this event will cover:

The event will include a summary of the Chancellor’s March 2022 Spring Statement, its implications on you and your business with expert analysis from MHA Moore and Smalley.

Robert Weston from Barclays will discuss the current issues and challenges faced by businesses, including the impact of supply chain disruption on the working capital cycle and what support can be provided during these challenging times.

Finally, the event will end with a Q&A session where attendees will have an opportunity to direct their questions to the panel.

Keynote speakers

Colin Abrahams, Tax Partner, MHA Moore and Smalley

Colin specialises in the provision of tax advisory services and strategic business advice and has a vast knowledge of all things tax related, including corporation tax, personal tax and shareholder tax planning. His work involves tailoring tax advice to suit both the corporate needs of the business as well as the personal objectives of the business owners.

Robert Weston, Business Development Manager, Barclays Trade & Working Capital

Robert has 21 years’ experience at Barclays spending the last 11 years as a specialist in working capital support. He supports clients with mitigating the risks of importing and exporting as well as providing trade finance solutions to assist cash flow and working capital requirements.
