  • Where: Squire Patton Boggs, 1 Hardman St, Manchester M3 3EB
  • Summary: An event in partnership with Squire Patton Boggs and the NSPCC
  • Details:

Prospective employees and clients want to work for, and with, firms that prioritise purpose, not just profits; firms who make a positive contribution to Society.  When it comes to diversity and inclusion at work, we often place our focus around issues such as gender, race, or disability.  But diversity and inclusion extend far wider than this and includes social mobility.

Our half-day Social Mobility conference will demonstrate the importance of improving this key area.  More than that this event will give practical information on how to implement a social mobility strategy in your firm and will give examples of the benefits to the business as well as individuals.

The programme features keynote speakers from across the region, insightful discussions from a panel with a range of experiences and case studies of success and challenges.

We all must come together collectively and strive for a more equal future for all.  Businesses and leaders have a key role to play in helping to create social mobility and we need to stand up and take action to create a more socioeconomic and ethnically diverse workplace.

So why not join us at our landmark Social Mobility Conference on 17th March 2022? This Conference is held as a partnership event between Squire Patton Boggs and Manchester Law Society and will be of benefit to everybody, but in particular HR, Diversity & Inclusion Officers, Training Partners and Senior Management.

    Cost to attend:

    • MLS Members £45.00 plus VAT (£54.00)
    • Non-Members £60.00 plus VAT (£72.00)

£10.00 from each ticket sold will be donated to NSPCC Manchester Childline
