Manchester Metropolitan University has announced the launch of three new apprenticeships and exploring the development of a further two apprenticeships, opening fresh pathways for both learners and employers. These programmes have been developed to meet emerging industry needs and equip workforces with the skills required to thrive in a rapidly evolving landscape.
New apprenticeship programmes for September 2026 are:
Accounting Finance Manager (BSc (Hons))
This programme equips apprentices with the essential accounting and finance skills to drive financial strategy and innovation within their organisation.

Postgraduate Teacher Apprenticeship (subject to validation)
The School of Education at Manchester Metropolitan University is exploring the development of a new Postgraduate Teacher Apprenticeship, designed in response to the evolving teacher‑training landscape and the increasingly pressing recruitment challenges faced by schools and Trusts.
AI and Automation Practitioner (Level 4)
Manchester Met are in the early stages of developing a new AI and Automation Practitioner Apprenticeship. This Level 4 apprenticeship is designed to support organisations in adopting AI and automation responsibly, with a strong focus on values, ethics, and workforce needs. Keep up to date with programmes in development.
