Introduce yourself

I’m Liam Marlow and I work with Accenture’s Health and Public Service practice as a Senior Manager in Industry and Enterprise. I love working with digital transformation, data, and AI implementations and problem solving by translating the complex into the simple. I have worked in consultancy for 5+ years now across several government departments and love understanding how technology can solve challenges. Outside of work I love anything fitness or sport related, I’m a keen runner and golfer, I believe golf is the thing you stop doing after playing football, so it seemed the logical thing to get into! This spring I ran the Manchester Marathon which was a great experience and I would highly recommend.

Career highlight

My personal career highlight was being involved in the delivery of the GOV.UK One Login single sign-in system that allows users to access multiple UK government services with one account, using an email, password, and identity verification which now has over 11 million users!

What’s the best thing about pro-Manchester?

With over 390 member businesses, a big events calendar, and a genuine focus on growing the Greater Manchester business community, it’s exactly the kind of network I want to be part of. As someone who has just recently got involved, I’m excited to connect with people who are passionate about Manchester too!

What are your priorities for 2026/27?

My biggest priority is to meet members across the pro-manchester group and take advantage of the Manchester momentum, grow my Manchester-based network, and create new opportunities within the North West.

What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?

It would be hard not to say Andy Burnham and Number 10 North, let’s go with that!

Are there any particular types of businesses that you would like to meet?

I’m always keen to meet businesses who want to chat about digital transformation, data excellence, AI implementation, and innovation. However, I am always open to chatting to everyone and learning more about what is going on in Manchester.
