Introduce yourself

I’m Michael Surowiecki, Web Developer at Entyce Creative in Chester. I turn designs into sites that actually work — WordPress/Elementor and custom front-end. I’ve been with the team for eleven years and spend most of my time making sure clients get something that looks good and performs.

Career highlight

Seeing Entyce recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in 2026, and being part of a small Chester agency that became a B Corp. On the work side, launching sites that clients then grow on — including building out our own work for businesses that need a proper digital presence, not just a brochure.

Practical, curious, reliable.

What’s the best thing about pro-manchester?

The network. It’s a proper Greater Manchester business community — events, introductions and a chance to sit in the same room as people who are actually shaping the city region, not just talking about it.

What are your priorities for 2026?

Keep raising the quality of the work, support Entyce’s growth in the North West, and get more involved in the Manchester network now we’re members.

What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?

The “Manchesterism” conversation after Andy Burnham moved into No.10, continued economic outperformance versus the UK average, and the scale of physical change (city-centre living, stadium plans, events infrastructure). On our side of things, the creative/digital sector still has room to take a bigger share of that growth.

Favourite meeting place in Manchester?

Printworks — mainly because of the Vue IMAX. It’s easy to grab food or a drink first, then watch something properly.
