Introduce yourself:

I’m Rebekah Spratt, founding consultant at Watson St Communications and I head up all of the Marketing at Taylor Lynn Corporation (TLC). Watson St specialises in PR, marketing and communications across the luxury events, property, travel, and hospitality sectors. I began managing TLC’s social media in 2022, and now lead the company’s wider marketing strategy, working closely with the team to develop the brand and spotlight TLC’s bold, creative event delivery. As one of the North’s leading event planners, the business has an incredible legacy, and I’m excited to help drive its next chapter of growth.

Career highlight:

A standout moment for me was leading TLC’s communications around The Great Mancunian Ball, a spectacular charity gala held at Factory International. It was a joy to see such a creative and ambitious event come to life, and to be part of a team that helped raise £565,980 for the new St Ann’s Hospice. The night was a perfect example of how the team can blend creativity and purpose – something I’m proud to champion in my role.

Name three words that describe your personality:

Thoughtful, grounded, dedicated

What’s the best thing about Pro-Manchester?

So far, I think the marketing support is brilliant. Whether it’s sharing member updates or promoting big wins across social. But it’s also the network itself. Pro-Manchester is full of ambitious, supportive professionals, which makes it a great space to grow relationships and raise visibility for businesses like TLC.

What are your priorities for 2025?

To make the most of every marketing opportunity, especially as TLC enters a significant period of growth. With major events in the pipeline, 2025 is about spotlighting our creative edge and ensuring the business remains top of mind as the go-to event agency for businesses and brands in Manchester and beyond.

What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?

As a new Stockport homeowner, it’s great to see all of the exciting investment flowing into Greater Manchester’s surrounding towns. It’s opening up new opportunities for events and partnerships. In the city centre, the cultural and hospitality landscape continues to evolve rapidly, which is exciting from an events perspective. Manchester’s growth creates new business for companies like TLC, and we’re ready to meet that demand with bold, unforgettable experiences.

Favourite meeting place in Manchester?

Haunt – great coffee, great wine, and unbeatable views of Manchester Central Library. It’s always a good vibe for meetings or people-watching!

Are there any particular types of businesses that you would like to meet?

At Watson St, I always like to have a purposeful charity project on the go – and TLC has built a reputation for delivering world-class charity galas. I’d love to bring the two together, and would be grateful for any opportunity to connect with businesses or organisations looking to raise funds or awareness through show-stopping events that leave a lasting impact.
