Introduce yourself

Hello! I’m Rhe, Business Development Manager for Red Engine, I look after Flight Club and Electric Shuffle. I’m new to Manchester and have really enjoyed getting to know the city, meeting new people and expanding my network. Outside of work, I live with my little bunny, King Prawn, he is my best friend. If I could bring him along to every networking event I absolutely would!

Career highlight

A real career highlight for me was breaking site records during Liverpool’s Labour Party Conference, hosting multiple events across two venues at the same time. It was incredibly busy, my legs were absolutely exhausted from running around, but it was such a rewarding experience and a brilliant reminder of how exciting events can be when everything comes together.

What’s the best thing about pro-manchester?

I am very new to pro-manchester. I would say the attentiveness, and support from the team so far has been really helpful and I am looking forward to what’s next!

What are your priorities for 2026?

My priorities for 2026 are to expand my Manchester network and knowledge, meet some great people and hopefully make new friends along the way. I also want to say yes to more opportunities, and make time to do things for myself, both professionally and personally.

What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?

For me, the most important thing happening in Manchester at the moment is the amount of growth, investment and energy across the city. There is so much regeneration, new hospitality, leisure and cultural activity. Manchester is becoming an even bigger destination for businesses, events and people wanting to connect. As someone who is new to the city, I am excited to be a part of that momentum and looking forward to meeting so many people who are passionate about where Manchester is heading.

Are there any particular types of businesses that you would like to meet?

I would genuinely love to meet everyone! I’m always keen to connect with people from all types of businesses, especially anyone who enjoys social events, networking and bringing people together. Whether it is for work, events or simply making new connections in Manchester, I am always happy to have a chat.
