My career highlight has been taking a small business and getting to the stage that it provided gainful and meaningful employment to dozens of local people whilst supporting the needs of thousands of UK businesses and hundreds of thousands of their employees.

What’s the best thing about pro-manchester?

The opportunity to find yourself in some of Manchester’s best venues where they showcase their finest food for my consumption whilst I am talking with some of the best business leaders in Britains best city.

What are your priorities for 2026?

To increase awareness around the Salary Sacrifice Nursery Fee scheme, there are thousands of UK businesses who currently use the scheme, but tens of thousands more businesses who do not know it exists, or if they do, think it is not for them when it is for every UK business.

What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?

The influx of talent that all of the new and growing businesses are generating, and all of the excellent opportunities to eat well, party late and see some of the best bands and live acts makes Manchester a highly attractive place for anyone to live and work.

Anywhere with a solid coffee / breakfast combo, currently trying to try every coffee house in NQ!

Are there any particular types of businesses that you would like to meet?

Employers who genuinely want to look after their employees are the companies we work best with. Seeing beyond the numbers and caring about people generates a culture that we deeply enjoy engaging with.
