Top 200 UK law firm Myerson Solicitors has been shortlisted in two categories at the British Conveyancing Awards 2026, organised by Today’s Conveyancer, recognising excellence in both workplace culture and residential property services.
The firm has been shortlisted for Residential Property Team of the Year – Boutique and Best Place to Work – Law Firms, marking further recognition of Myerson’s people-first culture and the continued growth and expertise of its Residential Property team.
Residential Property is a key part of Myerson’s full-service offering, and the department has grown rapidly in recent years. Accredited by the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme, the team handles far more than straightforward sales and purchases and is recognised for its depth of technical expertise across complex and high-value residential work.
The team has extensive experience advising on high-value and ultra-high-value transactions, high-rise buildings requiring enhanced safety and compliance checks, rural and estate property, multi-unit developments, buy-to-let portfolios, leasehold matters, probate and matrimonial-related sales, auction purchases and a wide range of investor work. Their expertise also includes the separation of large titles by way of transfer of part, the set-up of small residential development sites, and the incorporation of property portfolios. As one of the few UK firms insured for residential matters up to £40 million, Myerson is able to act on transactions typically reserved for global or London-based firms, while continuing to serve clients across the North West and nationally.
Commenting on the shortlisting, Heather Adams, Partner and Head of Residential Property at Myerson Solicitors, said:
“I am incredibly proud of our team and the expertise we have built. Being shortlisted for Residential Property Team of the Year recognises the complex and high-value work we handle every day, while still providing the same care, attention to detail and partner-led service on every matter. To see that work recognised nationally is very special for me. Being shortlisted as a Best Place to Work is equally important and reflects the supportive, people-first culture at Myerson. As a 100% employee-owned firm, there is a real sense of shared responsibility, and I am proud to lead a team that embodies those values every day.”
The British Conveyancing Awards 2026 shortlist recognises nearly 70 individuals, firms and businesses for their role in supporting home movers across the UK. The winners will be announced on 12 March 2026 at Manchester Cathedral.
