Altrincham, 15th October 2026 – Leading independent law firm Myerson Solicitors has secured six new rankings in the Chambers and Partners UK Guide 2027, further strengthening its reputation for legal excellence and reflecting a sustained period of growth and success for the firm.
The Altrincham-based, employee-owned law firm has achieved two new departmental rankings for its Family and Real Estate Litigation teams, alongside four new individual rankings, bringing its total number of Chambers UK recognitions to 15.
The newly ranked departments are:
- Family
- Real Estate Litigation
Four Myerson lawyers have also received new individual recognition:
- Jo Evans, Partner and Head of Employment
- Jane Tenquist, Partner and Head of Family
- Richard Meehan, Partner in Corporate Commercial
- Joe Ferguson, Associate in Family
These achievements are complemented by the firm’s continued recognition across its established practice areas, with Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions: Small and Medium-sized Enterprises/Owner-managed Businesses retaining its Band 2 ranking, alongside Employment and Information Technology, both ranked in Band 3.
The firm is particularly proud to see M. Akeel Latif, Partner and Head of Corporate Commercial, achieve a prestigious Band 1 ranking for Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions. In this highly competitive area of law, Band 1 recognition places Akeel among the leading legal specialists in his category. Akeel leads one of the largest corporate teams in the North West outside Manchester city centre, who regularly advise on complex, high-value transactions. This achievement reflects both his expertise and the collective strength and success of the wider team.
Five further Myerson lawyers have once again been recognised in the guide:
- Richard Wolff, Partner and Head of Insolvency and Restructuring
- Laura Pile, Partner and Head of Real Estate Litigation
- Joanne Henderson, Partner in Employment
- Victoria Davis, Legal Director in Employment
- Karen Taylor, Legal Director in Property Litigation
The Chambers UK Guide is one of the legal sector’s most respected independent rankings, recognising outstanding law firms and lawyers based on extensive research, client feedback, and assessments of legal expertise. With just 2% of firms securing a ranking, recognition in the guide is a significant and highly prestigious achievement.
The latest rankings follow a particularly successful period for Myerson, which recently announced record revenue of £19.1 million for the 2025/26 financial year, representing 9% organic growth.
The firm has also celebrated another strong performance in The Legal 500 UK 2027 Guide, securing 32 rankings overall, including 12 ranked departments, and five Tier 1 teams.
Richard Lloyd, Chief Executive at Myerson Solicitors, commented:
“We are delighted to have secured new rankings in this year’s Chambers UK Guide, while retaining all our existing departmental and individual recognitions.
“Building on our excellent results in The Legal 500, these achievements reflect our continued growth and the depth of talent, collaboration and shared commitment across the firm.
“This recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of everyone at Myerson, and I am incredibly proud of what we continue to achieve together.”
