Applications now open for our new fully funded gaming, immersive tech (arts/entertainment) e-sports and animation cohort.
Create Growth is an innovative programme, designed to help businesses unlock and develop their creative potential. With a buzzing community of creative businesses, Greater Manchester boasts one of the country’s leading creative forces and contributes an estimated gross value added (GVA) revenue impact of £1.4bn to the UK economy from culture and creative industries.
Create Growth has been created to further develop what is already a thriving industry, helping creative organisations attract investment to grow their business sustainably. Further to the success of our music cohort, we are now recruiting for our new Create Growth programme focused on the gaming, immersive tech (arts/entertainment) e-sports and animation sector.

Cohort Details
Starting in November, our latest Create Growth cohort is focused on the gaming, immersive tech, e-sports and animation sector. This fully funded programme is here to help Greater Manchester’s organisations navigate today’s competitive landscape, seize new funding opportunities and achieve growth to the next level.
As part of the Create Growth cohort, businesses will enjoy the benefits of
- Peer-to-peer workshop days with sector specific facilitators
- Masterclasses with industry specialists focusing on relevant sector topics
- 121 support and advice from a Creative Industries Business Advisor
- Networking and opportunities to connect with like-minded founders
Applications and eligibility
Applications: Open from 8th September 2025 – 8th October 2025
Eligibility: Trading in the Greater Manchester area and employing at least 2 members of staff.
Funding: Fully funded by the Department for Digital Culture Media and Sport
