Pareto’s Make Money Make Sense Podcast Returns for Season 2
28th October 2026, 11:52 am
Make Money Make Sense, is back with a new series of conversations designed to help young people better understand money and the financial decisions they face throughout life.
Created by Pareto Financial Planning, the podcast was launched to make financial education more accessible and understandable, all in one place. While those goals remain at the heart of the podcast, Season 2 takes a slightly different approach.
This season focuses more heavily on personal experiences, individual stories and different perspectives. Rather than simply talking about financial concepts, episodes explore how money influences the choices people make and the experiences that shape their financial habits.
Throughout the series, listeners will hear honest conversations around topics that many young people face, including whether to travel or move abroad versus heading straight to university or into a career, the true cost of university life, getting started with investing, and the role friends, family and wider influences can have on spending habits and financial decision-making.
By bringing together personal experiences and professional insight, Make Money Make Sense aims to make financial conversations feel more relatable and relevant to everyday life.
Young adults are crossing increasingly complicated financial decisions. Pareto believes access to clear and practical information has never been more important. The podcast continues to provide a space where listeners can learn from the experiences of others, hear different viewpoints and build confidence in their own financial choices.
New Host: Lettie Cartwright
Season 2 also welcomes a new host, Lettie Cartwright, an Independent Financial Adviser at Pareto Financial Planning.
Lettie graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a First-Class Honours degree in Banking and Finance, but her interest in finance started long before university. Growing up, she saw first-hand the importance of financial knowledge and was fortunate to learn many essential money skills from her mum, creating a lasting interest in helping others improve their understanding of money.
After beginning her financial services career in 2018, Lettie achieved her Diploma in Financial Planning, recently passed the AF5 Financial Planning Process exam and is currently working towards Chartered Financial Planner status.
What first attracted her to the profession still motivates her today. Although financial education now forms part of the school curriculum, the quality and depth of teaching can vary significantly, leaving many young people feeling unprepared for the financial realities of adult life.
As host, Lettie hopes to make financial information easier to access and understand. She recognises that finance can often feel overwhelming, with endless information, opinions and jargon to work through. Through open conversations and relatable stories, she aims to cut through the noise and make financial topics simpler to understand.
“If each episode helps even one person feel more confident about their financial future, then it’s doing exactly what it set out to do.”
With fresh perspectives, real-life experiences and practical conversations, Season 2 of Make Money Make Sense continues Pareto’s commitment to making financial education more accessible for the next generation.
