Prosperity Law LLP is delighted to announce new promotions

Prosperity Law LLP is delighted to announce its latest round of promotions within its Manchester office.

Prosperity Law is a fast-growing boutique commercial law firm with expertise in litigation/dispute resolution, insolvency, employment, property and healthcare, with offices in prime locations in Manchester and Liverpool.

Andrew Farrell has been promoted to Office Managing Partner, having joined the firm from JMW (where he was Head of Commercial Litigation) in 2018. Simon Gerrard has also been promoted to Partner, having joined the firm in September 2019 to head up the insolvency department having gained stellar experience at international law firms, Kennedys and Norton Rose Fulbright.

Edward Smethurst, the firm’s Managing Partner, said that “these promotions strengthen the team in the Manchester office and recognise the important contribution that Andrew and Simon have made in the growth of the firm.”

Andrew Farrell commented “I am very proud to lead the dedicated and professional team we have at Prosperity Law in Manchester and look forward to implementing the ambitious and exciting plans we have for our future”.

Simon added “When weighing up my options in September 2019, Prosperity Law was the obvious choice as it offered genuine scope for growth and a modern way of thinking and servicing clients that simply isn’t possible at international law firms. I am delighted to have been promoted to the firm’s vastly experienced leadership team and look forward to playing a key role in establishing the team as Manchester’s leading boutique commercial law firm”.

Additionally, Cristina Rueda, who holds a masters in international law and is a Spanish qualified barrister, has been promoted to the position of Corporate Enforcement Manager in the firm’s growing insolvency department.
