RTC North Pitching Showcase a Success

9th December 2021, 11:08 am

Six dynamic and innovative businesses took part in a Pitching Showcase organised by RTC North, to gain future investment and support.

Venture capitalists and angels were invited along to the showcase where they asked questions to gain a better understanding of how the six businesses operate before potentially considering an investment and future business support.

The event showcased a wide variety of businesses including Rezon, which is a wearable headband designed to protect the brain during sport, Stopford, which provide a safe and sustainable way to manage clinical waste, RexScan, which detects security issues and vulnerabilities, Sepsis +, which detects early signs of sepsis in people, Content Catalyst, which helps embed analyst research into user workflows, and CageCapture, which develops nanomaterials to capture harmful pollutants. Innovation Specialist, Iain Edwards commented:

“We showcased six of the north’s most investable businesses, who among others, had completed one of the most challenging investor readiness programmes I have been engaged in. Presenting to a wide group of investors and interested parties. The businesses delivered an outstanding performance, and I am delighted and confident that their continuing efforts will be rewarded with support.”
