SME homebuilders celebrated at North West property awards

26th June 2023, 9:00 am

Genesis Homes was named Homebuilder of the Year at the second-annual Cowgills North West Homebuilder Awards 2023.

Last night’s event celebrated the best of the North West SME property sector at an action-packed event hosted by Cold Feet’s John Thomson in Manchester’s Albert Hall.

The best housing schemes, sustainable projects and individual trailblazers were celebrated alongside industry peers at the event sponsored by Hampshire Trust Bank.

Commenting on Genesis Homes’ win, Stuart Stead, Head of Property & Construction at Cowgills said: “Whilst we had some incredible submissions, it was an obvious choice to name Genesis Homes as Homebuilder of the Year. Their carbon net-zero Pennine View development went well beyond the current requirements to deliver energy efficient and low running cost homes, and they’ve created local jobs through the scheme, which was really important for the judges.

“Their Rising Star John Blue is also an exceptional addition to the North West property scene. We’re pleased we got to celebrate all of the fantastic work they’ve done this year.”
