Introduce yourself
Hello everybody, my name is Nicola McCormick, Chief Operating Officer at pro-manchester. I’ve been part of the network for 15 years, and in that time I’ve seen first-hand how it has grown into a truly connected, inclusive and ambitious community.
3 words that describe pro-manchester
If I had to describe pro-manchester in three words, I’d say Connected, Inclusive and Ambitious.
One thing people don’t realise about what we do
One thing people don’t always realise is the scale of what we do: we deliver over 150 events each year and welcome more than 12,000 delegates across our network.
Best part of working with the Manchester business community?
For me, the best part of working within the Manchester business community is simple: the people.
Coffee order or go-to lunch spot in Manchester
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me at Doux Chaton, my go-to spot for coffee or lunch in the city!
Favourite pro-manchester event and why?
One of my favourite events in the calendar is the International Women’s Day Lunch. I always leave feeling inspired by the stories shared, energised by the sense of empowerment and connected to a strong shared purpose in the room.
What excites you most about the future of pro-manchester?
Looking ahead, I’m most excited about continuing to grow a genuinely member-led community – bringing more sectors and voices together, sparking new collaborations and helping make Greater Manchester an even stronger place to do business.
