Tempo Talks: Ask Graduates Anything

27th May 2020, 10:04 am

What do graduates really want?

Gen Z is already a widely discussed generation, coming into the workforce with a brand new set of behaviours, expectations and values. Add to that a global pandemic that changes everything. It has arguably never been scarier to enter the world of work, so how can employers ensure that graduates have a positive experience? We don’t want to present you with stats about Gen Z that you have read a hundred times before. We want you to actually hear it straight from the source. Focusing on the hiring landscape in the north, we have found three soon-to-be graduates from Manchester University who will spill the beans during this panel session.

What do they think of recruitment processes? Are graduate schemes outdated? Is it all about startups now? Get the answers – and submit your own – on 11th of June at 3:30pm BST.

Panel chair:
Ash Sabzevar – City Manager, Manchester, at Tempo

Panellists:
Katherine Farquharson, final year Geography student at Manchester University
Fredrick Smith, final year English student at Manchester University
