The ESG Edge: How to Gain Competitive Advantage

17th September 2026, 10:57 am

Join us for an interactive workshop exploring how an organisational approach led by ESG can provide competitive advantage.

This in-person, interactive workshop brings together up to 50 participants, thoughtfully divided into sector groups to ensure balanced perspectives and meaningful discussion. Each group will explore how an organisational approach led by ESG (environmental, social, and governance) can provide competitive advantage.

We will cover questions like:

  • Does ESG need to be top-down or can it be more grassroots within organisations?
  • How do we transform our disparate sustainability approaches into a cohesive strategy?
  • What is the business case for selling ESG into my organisation?
  • How can we communicate about sustainability without being accused of greenwashing?
  • How can measuring and reporting on our carbon footprint benefit our bottom line?

Through facilitated discussions and practical examples, each sector group will identify how ESG can benefit organisations’ top and bottom lines, attract and retain staff, and position organisations for success. This workshop will move beyond theory to find the ESG metrics that matter most in each context, uncover common pitfalls, and discuss best practices. We will share a full report on the findings within two weeks after the workshop.
