Covid 19 case law update

2020 and 2021 saw significant changes to the workplace with a shift to hybrid working and Covid-19 continuing to impact on workplaces. There have been a number of very important employment law judgments and we will provide summaries of the key cases arising from issues relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. The session will serve as a practical reminder of the principal messages for busy employers and HR practitioners.

The total lifting of restrictions and a return to normality has presented a myriad of issues for HR practitioners when dealing with the return to the workplace. This session will provide practical guidance on how to resolve Covid19 legacy issues, based on the queries we have received from our own clients. The session will focus on how to manage hybrid working and bring reluctant people back to the office, as well as the practical issues that accompany implementing 4 day weeks and how to manage long covid.

Dave in the Managing Director of Co-Creation Group and possesses over 20 years of experience working with SME’s, large corporations and public sector organisation. This has included managing and implementing leadership development, change management and team effectiveness across organisations. Dave is a coach and mentor and provides facilitation, input and guidance to help individuals and teams drive both their personal and organisation strategies forward.

Dave is pragmatic in his approach and works in partnership with clients to create solutions that truly provide value, for both the organisation and the individuals involved. Dave takes a strengths-based approach which delivers key results.

Inclusive Wellbeing: A Talent Attraction Strategy?

This session will look at how delivering wellbeing inclusively and strategically can be both a competitive advantage but also important in the acquisition and retention of talent. We will look at ways in which this can achieved, takeaways you can implement and what the future is likely to hold for wellbeing.

Lee Chambers is a business psychologist and founder of Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing. After a diverse career across a variety of sectors including corporate finance and elite sports, and founding a video game business, he launched Essentialise in 2020 to support SMEs with delivering wellbeing and inclusion strategically. He is the current Great British Entrepreneur of the Year for Service Industries and can often be found speaking on gender equity, menopause and inclusive wellbeing.
