Commenting on the appointment, Wiper said: “I’m incredibly proud to be leading PHA North at such an exciting time for the agency. The North is brimming with talent, creativity and ambition, and I’m passionate about championing the region’s most innovative businesses on both a regional, national, and international stage. Having built and grown agencies here, I know first-hand the opportunities that exist for brands in this part of the UK, and I’m excited to combine that entrepreneurial drive with PHA’s scale and ambition. Together with our brilliant teams in Manchester and Leeds, I can’t wait to deliver bold, integrated campaigns that make a real impact and bring more Northern energy to PHA’s future.”
George Coleman, CEO at The PHA Group, added: “We’re doubling down on our investment in the North to take advantage of the incredible talent and growth opportunities in the region. The PR industry is overly London-centric, but we passionately believe having teams across the UK makes PHA a better agency and leads to more impactful ideas and campaigns for our clients. Adding some Northern soul to our work is part of our secret sauce, and I’ve no doubt Becks will make a significant positive impact on all that we do.”
